We’re officially ready to go… Tonight from 7pm til late…

Our menu has been tested and expanded.
Our drinks have been sample 1, 2, maybe 3 times by multiple individuals.
And our sign, patio, and grande LCD tv have made The Charles Bar a social hub for the Woodwards complex in Gastown.

Grab a seat.

It could be raining cats and dogs and we would still be smiling today. We officially opened our patio at The Charles Bar (136 W Cordova), and can’t wait to fill the seats with as many different walks of life as possible (sorry, no grumpy people allowed).

For those of you that are grumpy, take a listen to ‘The Patio Song’ - it’s a real pick me up.

So, we’re starting off our series of giveaways with 2 pairs (4 tickets) to the Canucks vs Flames game Sept 21st at Rogers Arena.

There are 2 ways to win:

I was fairly lucky to be invited in on opening night last Friday September 3rd to experience The Charles Bar, perhaps the bar was named after a guy named Charles, I’m not sure, but this bar hits it on the nose in this neighbourhood. The room is beautiful, dark wooden floors, large wooden tables, high ceilings and a cool bar set-up along with a kitchen cooking pretty good food! Owned by the Adelphia Group, this bar is located in the new Woodward’s building on the Cordova side in Gastown.
